About Us

E.M. Pemrick and Company was established in 2006 by Ellen Morosoff Pemrick, a professional planner with more than 20 years of experience in economic development, community planning and policy analysis. Over the course of her career, she has developed a large and diverse project portfolio that includes economic development strategies, retail market analyses, and downtown revitalization plans.

Prior to establishing E.M. Pemrick and Company, Ellen Pemrick held long-term positions with private consulting firms, serving as Director of Economic Development for six years and Principal Planner for seven years. She also spent five years with the Legislative Commission on Skills Development and Vocational Education, where she conducted research and developed recommendations for the New York State Legislature on workforce needs and education and training programs.

Ellen Pemrick has a Master of Regional Planning degree, with a Concentration in Economic and Community Development, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
